3 Ways to Spartan Kick the Start Of The Week Blues

"Ok Monday Let's Do This" in Gold and Black Lettering

Can we start the weekend over again? I wasn't ready...

The weekend seems to always go by faster than the week before, seems like you just stepped out of work to only step back in. I have found most people on Sunday already dread the next day, so are Mondays just bad days for eternity? Nope, here I will go through my 3 ways to get rid of those pesky early week blues, hopefully for good..or at least until next week.

1. Be Positive.

I know, sounds corny, right? Really though if you think something bad is going to happen, you'll attract it. If you accidentally spill coffee on your shirt, get stuck in traffic, flat tire, etc. the more you focus on it, the worse your day may get. However, if you are more positive even if those events do happen, you may have a better day. One of my mottos is, "If you search for negativity, you will find it." You have to search for positivity instead and not let those situations bring your entire day down. You have to learn how to adapt to the situation and take it into stride.

2. Be Prepared.

The night before, plan out your entire outfit, set out your breakfast even if it's just a banana. I have learned the more organized you are, the easier it is to start your day. Just in case something unexpected does happen (like spilling that coffee), you are easily able to change your shirt because you saved all that time from being organized. You already start your day being calmer and feeling on top of it instead of feeling behind and stressed.

3. Sing (or whatever makes you happy).

Since I love to sing, that is the example I will use, when you wake up, put some music on, serenade yourself, your dog, kids, whoever is around. You instantly uplift your mood when you listen to music and the people around you will also feel uplifted, everyone can start their day in an upbeat positive way. In my experience, when you make other people smile and laugh, you also do the same. Positivity is contagious. Just don't get distracted by singing so much that you forget the time.

Those are my three ways on how "I Spartan Kick Those Start of the Week Blues." I hope they help you. If you have any more tips on combating the blues or anything at all, leave a comment below.
